Dr. Bini. K obtained her Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology pursuing research at Rubber Research Institute of India, Kottayam from University of Kerala with CSIR fellowship. She   obtained her MSc degree in Plant breeding and Genetics from Kerala Agricultural University. Worked as Soil Survey Officer in the department of Soil Survey and Soil Conservation from 2012-2019. Joined at Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor in the department of Plant breeding and Genetics in the year 2019.
